Welcome to Halarmony, an application developed and owned by Neon Native LLC ("Neon Native," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure experience while you use our Halarmony alarm management application ("Halarmony" or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information, as well as your rights and choices regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: If you create an account within Halarmony (e.g., using email and password, or through a third-party provider like Google Sign-In), we collect information necessary for account creation and authentication, such as your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Alarm Data: Information you provide when creating and managing alarms within Halarmony, including alarm times, labels, repeat settings, ringtone choices, and group associations.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous or aggregated data about how you interact with the Halarmony app (e.g., features used, crash reports) to help us improve app performance and user experience. This data does not personally identify you.
- Advertising Data: When you use the free version of Halarmony, we may collect advertising-related data through Google AdMob, including device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve personalized advertisements. Premium users do not see advertisements.
- Purchase Information: When you purchase premium features through Google Play Billing, we collect transaction data including purchase confirmation, product IDs, and subscription status to manage your premium account.

- To authenticate users and secure access to the app.

4. Data Security
The security of your personal information and alarm data within the Halarmony app is a top priority. We employ a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. While no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we strive to maintain a high level of security for the Halarmony application.
- Ongoing Security Measures: We regularly review and update our security practices, which may include vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and internal security audits.
- Security Incident Response: In the event of a security breach, we have an established incident response plan to promptly address the situation, mitigate potential harm, and notify affected users as required by applicable laws and regulations.
- Data Encryption: When your data is sent between your device and our servers (if cloud features are used), it is encrypted using industry-standard protocols like HTTPS/TLS. Data stored on cloud servers is encrypted at rest.
- Device Security: Alarm data stored solely on your device is protected by the Android operating system's built-in security features, including the application sandbox.
- Limited Internal Access: Access to your data by Neon Native personnel is strictly controlled and limited to individuals who require it to provide support, maintain the application, or perform necessary business functions. All personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- You can delete individual alarms and alarm groups within the Halarmony app.
- If you delete your Halarmony account, we will take steps to delete your associated personal information and alarm data from our active systems in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law. Some data may remain in secure backups for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) for disaster recovery purposes.

6. App Permissions
The Halarmony app requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality. These may include:
- Notifications (Post Notifications): To display alarm alerts.
- Schedule Exact Alarms: To ensure alarms fire precisely at set times.
- Foreground Service: To play alarm sounds reliably.
- Wake Lock: To wake the device for an alarm.
- Vibrate: To enable vibration for alarms, if configured by you.
- Full-Screen Intent: To display the alarm ringing screen prominently.
- Receive Boot Completed: To reschedule alarms automatically after device restarts.
- Battery Optimization Exemption: To request exemption from battery optimization to ensure reliable alarm functionality.
- System Alert Window: To display alarm notifications over other apps when necessary.
- Internet Access: To communicate with our servers for authentication, data synchronization, advertising (for free users), and analytics.
- Billing: To process premium subscription purchases through Google Play.
Neon Native does not request permissions through Halarmony that are not directly related to providing you with a functional alarm service. You can manage app permissions for Halarmony through your device's system settings.
7. User Responsibilities
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Halarmony account credentials. Choose a strong, unique password and do not share it with others.
- Device Security: Secure your mobile device with a passcode, PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication. Keep your device's operating system and the Halarmony app updated.
- Reporting Security Issues: If you believe you have discovered a security vulnerability or have concerns about your account's security, please contact us immediately at support@neon-native.com.
8. Third-Party Services
The Halarmony app integrates with the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: For user authentication, analytics, and cloud storage.
- Google AdMob: For serving advertisements to free users.
- Google Play Services: For in-app billing and premium subscription management.

9. Children's Privacy
Halarmony is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Updates to This Privacy Policy
Neon Native LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices for the Halarmony app or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Neon Native website and/or within the Halarmony app. Your continued use of Halarmony after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
