How to Delete Your Halarmony Account
We understand that you may wish to delete your Halarmony account. Please follow the steps below carefully. Deleting your account is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
Important: Deleting your Halarmony account will permanently remove all your alarms, alarm groups, app settings, and any other associated data from our systems. This action cannot be reversed. Please be absolutely sure before proceeding.
Steps to Delete Your Account:
- Open the Halarmony app on your device.
- Navigate to the Settings screen. (You might find this via a settings icon or an entry in a navigation menu).
- On the Settings screen, scroll down to find the "Delete Account" button. It is usually styled as a prominent red button.
- Tap the "Delete Account" button.
- A confirmation dialog will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account. It will remind you that this action is irreversible and all your data will be lost. Read this carefully.
- If you are sure you want to proceed, tap the "Delete" button on the confirmation dialog.
- Re-authentication (If Required):
- For security reasons, Halarmony may require you to re-authenticate your account before deletion can be finalized. This is to ensure that it is genuinely you requesting the deletion.
- If prompted, a "Re-authenticate" dialog will appear.
- Enter your Halarmony account email and password into the respective fields.
- Tap the "Re-authenticate" button.
- If re-authentication is successful, the account deletion process will proceed.
- If re-authentication fails, please double-check your credentials and try again. You may see an error message if the credentials are incorrect.
- Once the deletion is successfully processed (after confirmation and any required re-authentication), your account and associated data will be removed. You will typically be logged out of the app, and the app might restart or return you to a login screen.
- You will usually see a message confirming that the account has been deleted (e.g., "Account deleted.").
What Happens After Deletion:
- All your alarm configurations, including times, labels, sounds, and repeat settings, will be permanently erased.
- Any alarm groups you created and the alarms within them will be deleted.
- Your user preferences and settings within Halarmony will be reset.
- If you were using any cloud synchronization features, your data will be removed from our cloud servers.
- You will no longer be able to log in with your old credentials.
If You Change Your Mind:
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Halarmony again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
