How to Delete Your Halarmony Account

We understand that you may wish to delete your Halarmony account. Please follow the steps below carefully. Deleting your account is a permanent action and cannot be undone.

Important: Deleting your Halarmony account will permanently remove all your alarms, alarm groups, app settings, premium subscription status, and any other associated data from our systems. This action cannot be reversed. Please be absolutely sure before proceeding.

Steps to Delete Your Account:

  1. Open the Halarmony app on your device.
  2. Navigate to the Account Options screen by tapping the account icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. On the Account Options screen, scroll down to find the "Delete Account" button. It is styled as a prominent red button.
  4. Tap the "Delete Account" button.
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear with the title "Delete Account", asking you to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account. It will remind you that this action is irreversible and all your data will be lost. Read this carefully.
  6. Re-authentication (Required):
    • For security reasons, Halarmony requires you to re-authenticate your account before deletion can be finalized. This ensures that it is genuinely you requesting the deletion.
    • The dialog will display fields for your email and password.
    • Enter your Halarmony account email and password into the respective fields.
    • Tap the "Delete" button.
    • If re-authentication is successful, the account deletion process will proceed.
    • If re-authentication fails, you will see an error message. Please double-check your credentials and try again.
  7. Once the deletion is successfully processed, your account and associated data will be removed. You will see a confirmation message stating "Account deleted." and will be automatically logged out and redirected to the login screen.

What Happens After Deletion:

  • All your alarm configurations, including times, labels, sounds, and repeat settings, will be permanently erased.
  • Any alarm groups you created and the alarms within them will be deleted.
  • Your user preferences and settings within Halarmony will be reset.
  • Your premium subscription status will be removed (note: this does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription - see below).
  • If you were using any cloud synchronization features, your data will be removed from our cloud servers.
  • You will no longer be able to log in with your old credentials.

Premium Subscription Note:

Important: Deleting your Halarmony account does not automatically cancel your premium purchase through Google Play. This is a one time purchase managed by Google Play.

If You Change Your Mind:

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Halarmony again in the future, you will need to create a new account and start fresh.
